In other words to prove that there is no God I can’t just proclaim it as fact then build a reality on that, no, I have to ridicule the Bible to discredit its message. Jesus made it very clear that it is all based on an act of faith. I need no proof that their isn’t a God all I have to do is look at the world I live in. The lack of forgiveness, the absence of real love, the embracing of self destructive activities along with AIDS and abject world poverty proves my point for me.

Well, maybe not. I mean AIDS has become an epidemic because we made it one. Poverty in the world is there because we allow it. Many feel taking from the rich is justified because of this but that’s just being a thief. Remember the old saying, “I can give a man a fish and he will eat today but teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime.”

Some feel that the void is a natural state and it is humanity who has the need to fill it. So we make up our stories to plug the holes, explain things we don’t understand when in fact we need not do any of that. Space will fill of its own accord the same way a system will fall apart if left alone. Bodies decay, neighborhoods fall apart and are torn up by crime, an NFL team becomes ineffective.

A large segment of society ridicules the notion that what the Bible says is literal and 100% how things happened and how we must act, yet an atheist will pick apart detail in the Bible as if it must be literal to prove their atheism. Why is that?

As people we spend a lot of time yelling about the fact religion is bogus. Hey, why don’t atheists just believe what ever it is they want to believe and let the rest of us except the Word for what we think it is. I’m just saying…

Last time I checked any lay minister who got caught doing this went to jail and no one paid anyone off.  As a matter of fact I don’t hear about the horrible actions of the lay ministers at all. It’s priests that have the problem. I resent the fact that our (being Catholic) powers that be compare scout leaders and other adults working with kids to priests. I have been a Cub Master, Scout Master, Assistant Scout Master, Camp Scout Master and everything in between and I have only come on one physical abuse situation and one drinking situation involving adults in the last 25 years.

Do abusers become scout leaders. Sure. These sick people regardless of all out attempts to control them will find ways to abuse kids. We all need to be vigilant and hold the abuser accountable for his/her actions. The Church has had a chance with each case to make a major statement by cleaning house. I know this may affect some non abusive clergy but you can’t help all the collateral damage. I get the feeling now the Church is just wishing the problem would go away. Well we all do! For real. What’s the answer to this problem? Ideas include a married priesthood for one.

Will there be less abusers in that population? I don’t know but maybe there would be a lot more applicants allowing the Church to tighten down the screening process. I don’t know the answer all I know is this needs a heavy hand just as it would in the lay world. Good God, the difference between a Scout Master and a Priest is night and day. I ask the powers that run my Church to wield Gods mighty sword and clean this filth from our midst. Priests represent Gods presence on this earth. Like the fist apostles who ventured into new lands (many to their death) spreading the Word our priests today are no different and must be held to a standard above all men.

Heavenly Father, we come  before you  today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, “Woe to those who  call evil good,” but that is exactly what we have done.  We have lost our spiritual  equilibrium and reversed our values.

We  have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted  our neighbor’s  possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free.

Ave Maria is a faith-based film about the effects on a person when they experience an apparition of the Virgin Mary. My original thought was how would I feel if it happened to me? After reading the book “The Final Hour” by Michael H. Brown I knew that the messages she has been giving us have been consistent with the teachings of Christ. Below are two “one-sheets” on the film so you can get a feel of what it will be.

But it won’t be at all unless I can find enough people to donate toward the project. I’m packaging the film now for production funding and to get that done costs $3000. That’s all.
