I listen to radio news reports and watch TV just like all of you. I do read a few blogs that pop up on my News Feedbut I’m careful to read stories only from credible (or supposedly credible) news sites. I try to stay away from people who are just bloggers with no particular credentials to back up their news reporting. Citizen journalism leaves much to be desired. I am a communications major and I guess my master’s degree does give me some room to write a blog but I feel I should stay within the boundaries of my area of expertise.

Once Again Adobe
I don’t mean to complain but Adobe can be a major pain in the ass.

And no, I don’t mean train engineers. I was always taught that form follows function. Seems safe to me. Of course “safe” isn’t always fun. If “safe was all we wanted then there wouldn’t be Macs vs PCs or better yet Windows vs OS X.
An Example
I worked on a photo I took in New York City back in 2009. Th image was shot using a Leica M8 digital range finder camera. It was so dark in this entrance to the building that I had to use the highest ISO the camera has. That means noise in the negative. In the film days it meant grain in the negative. All about the same problem.
