Sharing the Journey

I have been to a few writers workshops where the topic of social media was covered. In the past film companies used to send their stars out to appear at theatres all over the country when a new picture was coming out. It was an opportunity for movie theatre goers of that time to do what we call today a meet and greet. As the studio system in Hollywood fell apart the hold studios had over their stars evaporated the days of film stars touring the country to meet their fans ended. Today the film companies have the stars show up on late night television as a promotional tool and if it is in L.A. or New York they will appear at film premieres and that’s about it.

The Madness of Robin Randle Variant

Ramblings

I’VE got a few things I need to get off my chest so I can throw paper-work away, close the emotional book and generally clear my mind a bit. Nothing major or earth shattering just life, maybe that is earth shattering. We take life for granted and think our day to day problems are something major most of the time. At least until a devastating EF4 tornado plows through eastern Alabama last Sunday (March 3rd, 2019). A mile wide tornado that kills at least twenty-three people is a major earth shattering event. Gives one the perspective he needs.

The News Media

I’m not the blogger in my family. My wife Patti is very good at the blogging thing. She writes relevant pieces that relate to everyday life. Things about family, relationships, love, fear, you get the picture. Here’s the LINK. She also has a website you can find HERE.

and so it goes

I want to thank all of you who acted on the eBook offer I just ran at Amazon. The response was amazing. I’m very happy with the soft launch of my new novel. For those who missed out don’t worry, another opportunity to get a free copy of the Kindle version of The Madness of Robin Randle will be coming soon.

Out Now!

Finally it’s here. The Madness of Robin Randle is available now at Amazon in both print and Kindle editions. It has been a journey. I have to thank my daughter Elizabeth for creating an amazing cover. It is a wonderful watercolor painting. I will make reproductions of this piece of art available for purchase sometime in the near future.
