Book 2 – “Legends of the End” a Robin Randle Story
More on Book 2 later.

Hekate's KeyAs preparations get underway for the release of the first Robin Randle story I want to give folks a heads up on things. Websites will be changing so watch for that. My blog is 10 Past Midnight and is located at Probably where you are right now. I plan on using this blog as my main launch point but I want you to know about a few other locations on the Internet. Most will carry the same information. The Robin Randle site is up for major work. The mail list sign up is on this blogs home page. Right side of the page. I’m using Mail Chimp and I think it is safe.

I need every ones help in putting together this mail list. Did I say everyones help? Share with your friends, blast social media, what ever you’d like. I’m not proud. I promise I won’t hit you with a 100 emails a day but it will be the best way for you to find out when the book is going to be released. I will probably do an early release date that will include a limited number of signed copies. Detail to follow.

As for my new novel, Legends of the End, Robin finds herself in a situation the likes she’d never dreamed of facing. There are horrors pulled from Howard Phillips Lovecraft’s mythologies intermixed with the realities of Robin’s life. I don’t want to say too much as it might end up being spoilers for the first book. Here is a short clip. Enjoy:

Once I got there I raised my hands then brought them down together. I held them before my chest, I gathered my power, my angelic power hoping to knock this creature away. I didn’t care what Alex saw anymore. I worked my hands together like I was molding clay but this ball was no clay. I said, “Ialpurg noar .” (The burning flames has become – translated from Angelic) .and a glow of light began to build up from my palms. I looked up at the creature, it had become aware of the power I was attempting to open. It let go of Alex and started backing away. The light I held became bright like a small blue star in my hands. I tried lifting my hands so I couldn’t express that power away from me and into the monster but it never left my hands. The light just got brighter until I had to drop it. The star lept into me and I stiffened for a moment then glowed. What a shit storm. I couldn’t believe this, any of this. This was not happening. The shock of absorbing the energy I’d created was just too much for me. Things began to spin. A darkness creeped into the edge of my vision and I felt that horrible feeling you have when you know you’re going to pass out. I fought it, then I was gone.

I’m Just Saying

I am struggling through Christopher Hitchens book Hitch 22. I’m in a book group and this was the book for this month, if you want to know why. I find it incredible how strongly atheists defend their point of view. The idea is to ridicule the Christian faith traditions not build a case for atheism.

In other words to prove that there is no God I can’t just proclaim it as fact then build a reality on that, no, I have to ridicule the Bible to discredit its message. Jesus made it very clear that it is all based on an act of faith. I need no proof that their isn’t a God all I have to do is look at the world I live in. The lack of forgiveness, the absence of real love, the embracing of self destructive activities along with AIDS and abject world poverty proves my point for me.

Well, maybe not. I mean AIDS has become an epidemic because we made it one. Poverty in the world is there because we allow it. Many feel taking from the rich is justified because of this but that’s just being a thief. Remember the old saying, “I can give a man a fish and he will eat today but teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime.”

Some feel that the void is a natural state and it is humanity who has the need to fill it. So we make up our stories to plug the holes, explain things we don’t understand when in fact we need not do any of that. Space will fill of its own accord the same way a system will fall apart if left alone. Bodies decay, neighborhoods fall apart and are torn up by crime, an NFL team becomes ineffective.

A large segment of society ridicules the notion that what the Bible says is literal and 100% how things happened and how we must act, yet an atheist will pick apart detail in the Bible as if it must be literal to prove their atheism. Why is that?

As people we spend a lot of time yelling about the fact religion is bogus. Hey, why don’t atheists just believe what ever it is they want to believe and let the rest of us except the Word for what we think it is. I’m just saying…

Billy Graham - age 93

Billy Graham’s Prayer For Our Nation

Heavenly Father, we come  before you  today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, “Woe to those who  call evil good,” but that is exactly what we have done.  We have lost our spiritual  equilibrium and reversed our values.

We  have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted  our neighbor’s  possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free.
