Grumbling…then more grumbling

I hate to grumble. You know, complain about things. But when I see or hear stuff that upsets me, well just ask my wife. She will turn up the radio if we’re in the car. At home she switches on the TV. I can take a hint. Really. Thing is her actions don’t stop the grumbling in my head. I just go underground.

Indie Publication

I’m now officially an indie-publisher which goes hand in hand with the fact I’m already an indie-author. This is the first time I’ve seriously self-published a book. I read all kinds of blogs, bought people’s eBooks about how to do this, you know, I did my homework. Even with all that preparation I’m still finding myself on a rather steep and frustrating learning curve.

Yesterday my daughter Elizabeth brought me the artwork to be used for the cover of my novel The Madness of Robin Randle. It is a wonderful watercolor painting. We spent a lot of time talking about the story, its mood and locations along with Robin’s view of the world through out the book. Elizabeth did an amazing job distilling all that into a piece of art.
