I had a lot of fun exploring these “monster.” In reality all the photographs were taken in Roeland Park, Kansas. Roeland Park has an Arts in the Park program that is ongoing. What I did was photograph some of these works and stretch them into my vision of The Real. Some images had extensive Photoshop work done on them to fix the setting. Not all these pieces are in the best setting so I removed roads and the like to open them up. Hats off to all the artist that participated in the current crop of works. I understand pieces change every six months so I may not be finished with this. The reason I called them monsters of Mission, Kansas was the incredibly silly way the Mission city government has been acting over the last few years. There are two more which includes the master of the monsters but to see them you need to go to Wood Dickinson Photography. Happy Halloween.
